Sponsorship • Community-first

Support weekly tabletop coverage—without buying endorsements.

Gametopia Chronicles documents adult (40–60) board game meetups and league recaps across the U.S. Sponsorship helps keep reporting consistent and meetups visible. We label sponsored placements clearly and keep editorial decisions separate.

  • Transparent labeling

Sponsored blocks are marked and separated from recaps and news.

  • No endorsement claims

We don’t state that we “recommend” or “approve” products or venues.

  • Simple placements

Short sponsor notes, event support, or recurring visibility—clearly scoped.

  • Reliable cadence

Weekly updates aligned to meetup schedules and recap cycles.

What sponsors get (and don’t get)

You get: clearly labeled visibility tied to tabletop community updates, with a defined start/end date and placement notes.

You don’t get: control over our meetup listings, recap wording, or editorial conclusions.

Good fit: venues hosting public nights, organizers, local shops, conventions, and community programs that can share concrete details (dates, formats, accessibility notes).

We’ll ask for basic information and any constraints (e.g., regions, dates). We’ll never imply endorsement or use testimonials without explicit permission.

Sponsorship options

We offer three straightforward ways to support the journal. Each tier is sized for local businesses, game stores, venues, and community partners. We keep sponsor placements clearly labeled and separate from editorial decisions.

Newsletter mention

Low-key recognition in the weekly meetup summary email.

Tier A
  • One labeled sponsor line with link in a scheduled send.
  • Short description (1 sentence) provided by you; we may edit for clarity.
  • Best for store events, café game nights, or venue updates.

Typical lead time: 7–10 days.

Site placement

A labeled placement on relevant pages for a set period.

Tier B
  • Labeled logo/name + link placement (size depends on layout).
  • Optional “host highlight” note when it’s clearly factual (time/location/format).
  • Good fit for recurring meetups or league seasons.

Typical lead time: 10–14 days (includes asset review).

Local series support

Support a specific recurring series and help keep coverage consistent.

Tier C
  • “Supported by” label on that series’ meetup tracker entries and recap list.
  • Clear scope: series name, city/venue, schedule window, and format highlights.
  • Best for leagues, seasonal events, or community programs.

Typical lead time: 2–3 weeks (coordination + scheduling).

What we’ll ask for

A link, a short description, and any constraints (dates, geography, audience). If you have a logo, we’ll request a simple SVG or a high-resolution PNG. We do not accept requests to alter meeting recaps, standings, or verification notes.

Trust

Standards and disclosures

We keep sponsorships simple: readers should always know what’s paid, what’s independent, and how updates are handled.

Sponsored content labeling

  • Paid placements are labeled as Sponsored at the top of the post or section.
  • Any partner links or discounts are disclosed near the link.
  • We don’t use “native” styling that makes ads look like regular recaps without a label.

Editorial independence

  • Sponsorship does not determine which meetups we track or how we summarize league outcomes.
  • Sponsors may request factual fixes (dates, locations, names) but do not approve editorial tone.
  • We avoid personal endorsements; we focus on format details, accessibility notes, and what to expect.

Corrections and updates

  • We correct errors promptly and add an Update note when a change affects meaning (not just typos).
  • For time-sensitive meetup info, we prioritize corrections to date/time/location before other edits.
  • To report an issue, email contact@domain.com or use Contact.

Want to sponsor a meetup recap or recurring slot? Review options and submit a request. We’ll confirm fit and labeling before anything runs.

Request sponsorship availability

Share a few details and we’ll reply with current openings and lead times. We don’t accept every request; placement depends on fit and our standards.
