Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Eventrion Briefs (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit domain.com, subscribe to our newsletter, create an account, submit events, or otherwise interact with our services.
1) Personal information we collect
- Contact & account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile details, and communication preferences.
- Newsletter/lead forms: email address and any information you include in a form field.
- Event submissions: event title/description, venue details, dates, organizer contact info, links, and any files or notes you provide.
- Usage data: pages viewed, clicks, approximate location (derived from IP), device/browser information, and referral information.
- Cookies & similar tech: used for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, and ad measurement (where enabled).
2) How we use personal information
- Provide and operate the site, accounts, and event publishing/review workflows.
- Send newsletters and service messages (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Respond to requests and provide customer support.
- Measure performance (e.g., conversions, ad effectiveness) and improve content and user experience.
- Maintain safety, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3) How we share personal information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers (processors) that help us host the site, manage email delivery, analyze site usage, provide forms/CRM functionality, and secure our systems.
- Advertising/measurement partners to measure campaign performance and attribution. Depending on configuration, this may involve cookies or similar identifiers.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers if we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (information may be transferred subject to this Policy).
We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Some U.S. state privacy laws define “sale” or “share” broadly (e.g., sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising). Where applicable, you can opt out as described below.
4) Cookies, analytics, and ad measurement
You can control cookies through browser settings and, where available, our on-site consent tools. Disabling cookies may impact site functionality. If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as an opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” where required by law.
5) Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and how it is used.
6) Security and HTTPS
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Our site is intended to be served over HTTPS to help protect data in transit; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7) Your choices and U.S. state privacy rights
- Email marketing: unsubscribe using the link in emails.
- Access, correction, deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to legal exceptions).
- Opt out of “sale”/“sharing” and targeted advertising: request an opt-out via the contact methods below; we also honor GPC where required.
- Non-discrimination: we will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising applicable rights.
- California (CPRA) notice: in the last 12 months we may collect identifiers, commercial information (e.g., subscriptions), and internet/network activity; we use these for the purposes in Sections 2–4 and disclose them to service providers and, where enabled, ad/measurement partners. California residents may use an authorized agent; we may verify requests and request proof of authorization.
8) Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date.
