2) What Data We Process & Why

• Server logs: IP address, device/browser data, referrer, requested URL, timestamps. Purpose: security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
• Contact inquiries: information you send (e.g., name, email, message). Purpose: respond and document communications. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contract/contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Cookies/analytics (if enabled): we may use essential cookies for site operation and, where used, analytics/marketing technologies. Non-essential technologies are used only with your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and applicable German cookie rules (TTDSG); essential storage is based on necessity/legitimate interests.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR).

3) Recipients, Processors, and Transfers

• Server logs: typically up to 30 days (longer if needed for security incidents).
• Contact communications: as long as necessary to handle your request, then archived/deleted in line with statutory limitation and record-keeping obligations (typically up to 3 years, longer if required).
• Consent-based cookies/analytics: until you withdraw consent or per the tool’s configured retention.

5) Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). In Berlin, this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BlnBDI).

6) Security & Children

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method is 100% secure; please avoid sending sensitive information via unencrypted channels.

This site is not intended for children under 16 in Germany. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to request deletion.
