Cookie Policy & Consent
Applies to: affiliate-demo-a.test (Germany/EEA). Last updated: 2026-03-04.
We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels, SDK-like scripts) to operate this website, remember choices, measure usage, and (where enabled) show marketing/remarketing. Some are strictly necessary; others require your consent under EU ePrivacy rules (incl. Germany TTDSG) and the GDPR.
1) What are cookies & similar technologies?
- Cookies: small text files stored in your browser.
- Local/Session storage: browser storage used to save settings.
- Pixels/Tags: code that can send event data to providers (e.g., page views).
2) Categories and legal bases
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, consent storage, core site functions | Art. 6(1)(f) and/or Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Preferences | Remember settings (e.g., language, UI choices) | Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Analytics/Statistics | Understand usage, improve performance | Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Marketing | Ads measurement, remarketing, affiliate/advertising attribution | Art. 6(1)(a) |
Optional categories are disabled until you consent (opt-in) where required.
3) Google tags, Consent Mode & consent signals
If we use Google services (e.g., Google Analytics 4 and/or Google Ads/remarketing), they run only according to your selections. Where configured, we may use Google Consent Mode so Google tags receive consent states (e.g., analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). Without consent, tags should operate in a restricted mode or remain blocked, depending on our setup.
If we use a Consent Management Platform (CMP), it may also send standardized signals (e.g., IAB TCF v2.2 where applicable) to participating vendors based on your choices.
4) How to give, refuse, or withdraw consent
- Use the cookie banner on first visit to accept or reject optional categories.
- To change your mind later, open the site’s cookie settings (if available) or clear site data in your browser and revisit the site.
- You can also block cookies via browser settings; strictly necessary cookies may be required for the site to function.
5) Retention
Cookie lifetimes vary by purpose. Consent choices are typically stored to record your preference and are refreshed or re-requested periodically, and whenever we materially change our cookie usage.
